Quick quote

Getting a trading quote from your mobile is easy - you don’t even have to sign in. Just follow these simple steps:

Look for the 'Quick quote' box on the 'Sign in' page
Search for a company either by name or company code
Select 'Go'
Your quote will then be displayed in the yellow bar below

Signing In

You can sign in to mobile trading using the same login details that you use to access your account online:

Enter your username
Enter your password
Answer your security question
Then select 'Sign in'

Funding your account

Fund your account by selecting 'Fund account' from the main menu:

Enter the amount you would like to fund to your account, and select 'Continue'
Confirm that this is the correct amount by selecting 'OK', or choose 'Cancel' to go back
You'll then see a confirmation screen displaying your reference number
Choose 'Deal Now' to start dealing or 'Home' to go back to the homepage

Buying

To start buying from your phone, first choose ‘Deal Now’ on the main menu. You'll then be taken through to the dealing screen where you can enter more details:

Select 'Buy'
Enter a company name or code then select 'Verify'
Enter a number of shares or a value you want to invest in pounds
Select the 'Dealing Quote' button
Your quote will be displayed and held for 15 seconds – you’ll be able to see it counting down on the 'Deal Now' button
Select 'Deal Now' to go ahead, or 'Cancel Deal' to stop

Finally, you will be given confirmation of your trade. From this screen, you can either choose to place a new order, or return to the home page.

Selling

Choose 'Deal Now' on the main menu to sell stocks from your mobile phone:

Select 'Sell' to see a list of the stocks you hold
Select the stock you want to sell. The current price will then be displayed
You can choose to sell either a number of shares, or a value in pounds
Select 'Dealing Quote'
Your quote will be displayed and held for 15 seconds – you’ll be able to see it counting down on the 'Deal Now' button
Select 'Deal Now' to go ahead, or 'Cancel Deal' to stop the sale

Finally, you will be given confirmation of your trade and a bargain reference number.

Account valuation

You can check the current value of your account from your phone, by selecting ‘Valuation’ on the main menu:

You will then be able to see a list of the stocks in your portfolio and their current value
From here, you can then choose to buy or sell stocks or return to the home page
